We all know how valuable Primogems are in the world of Genshin Impact. After all, it’s currency that brings us one step closer to our favorite 5-star characters.
But if you’re a free-to-play player or a low-spend player, Primogems are more than valuable – it’s almost like an endangered animal. The longer you play, the less it gets.
However, just like Genshin Impact‘s extensive lore there are also hidden primogems just waiting to be discovered; be it secret quests or a convoluted secret achievement.
But we can’t complain. When it comes down to it, every primogem counts.
Here are some you might have missed.
You could hear Paimon all the time, couldn’t you?
Admit it, Paimon can be quite annoying when she twists her mouth. Luckily for us, there’s a very meta way to get back at her for popping our ears off!
This achievement requires you to go to your settings and continuously adjust the dialogue volume. Paimon will repeatedly ask you if the volume is okay, but just keep adjusting it three or four times.
Our cute emergency fodder gets angry and yells, “Hey, you could hear me the whole time!”
This will unlock the secret achievement “…You could hear Paimon the whole time, couldn’t you?”, which rewards you with 5 Primogems.
Here is a video that explains how to do it.
If you put your heart in…
This simple achievement can be obtained when you fail to cook a recipe for the first time…
… Anyone can be a gourmet
…and this achievement will be unlocked once you don’t cook the recipe another 9 times.
This gives you 5 Primogems each!
The secret luxurious chest of the Mondstadt Cathedral
This chest is fairly easy to get, that is, you must complete a time trial challenge that can only be accessed on a specific ledge in Mondstadt Cathedral Square.
In this time trial challenge you have to pass rings. However, you need to be extra careful and nimble with your feet, otherwise you can easily fall off the ledges!
Once you progress through 19 rings and reach the end of the ledge, a Luxurious Chest will appear giving you 10 Primogems!
Ready player zero
This “hidden” search, called A little gamewhich you can access while exploring the northwest of Liyue Harbor lets you play hide and seek with an NPC named Childish Jiang.
Be warned though, as this innocent game will have you wiping your tears afterwards as we discover that this man who had the mentality of a child has been waiting for his parents to return for years.
What he doesn’t know, however, is that his parents were already with him the whole time… albeit under the two tombstones that can be seen a few meters from his house.
Completing the quest will give you 30 Primogems, while completing the hide and seek game with Childish Jiang will give you the achievement Ready player zero and 5 prime gems.
This novel is amazing!
In order to get this hidden achievement, we must first get the daily quest “A New Plan” from Chang the 9th.
In this daily quest, Chang the 9th will ask us to take his finished manuscript to Xu of the Feiyun Trade Guild to be used in Inazuma’s “This Novel is Amazing!” Competition.
However, a few meters from the Feiyun Trade Guild, Paimon will stop us and entertain us with the idea of reading Chang the 9th’s manuscript.
You must choose to read it instead of not reading it in order to unlock the hidden achievement that will give you 5 Primogems.
second bloom
This secret quest that you can access after completing the Tatara stories Questline and getting a bag of Flower Seeds from Takashi (You know, this guy who lives in the shell shack in Tatarasuna and asks for 3 mystery shells in exchange for one of the three common chests he’s guarding) will get you talking Hanayama Kaoru. She can be found near a shrine if you teleport to a Statue of the Seven in Tatarasuna.
Hanayama Kaoru will ask for your help to plant a field of flowers within three daily resets.
In exchange, she gives you three chests, 80,000 mora and the hidden achievement second bloomwhich gives you 5 Primogems.
They shouldn’t grow old
When we first arrived in Inazuma, the nation was locked in a vicious civil war between the shogunate and Watatsumi Island.
The conflict has tragically cost what is believed to be hundreds of lives. But for this secret achievement, we only have to honor six.
You need to collect six Dendrobium and offer them to six simple tombs on Yashiori Island.
If you honor these tombs, you will receive them They shouldn’t grow old Hidden Achievement and 5 Primogems.
The achievement’s name specifically refers to a 2018 documentary about the lives of soldiers in World War I and the 1914 poem “For the Fallen” by Laurence Binyon.
The accidental circumstance of a blooming rose
While exploring Ghandarva Ville we will come across Collei’s house.
As we read her journal, we find out that she is worried about her Sumeru rose in the pot and doesn’t have the time to get it out to get some sun. Paimon instructs us to bring out the pot and leave a message for Collei.
This gives us the achievement The accidental circumstance of a blooming rose.
This achievement is limited to one day, and completing it by reading Collei’s reply to your note will award you with 5 Primogems.
Song of night and dawn
Only accessible after completing the Aranyaka questline, players must return to Ancient Vanarana to access it Marana’s last fight hidden search.
In it, at the behest of a mysterious voice, you must defeat 7 Pyro Abyss Mages that are in the area. They must also extinguish their pyres.
This will summon a Pyro Abyss Lector by the Statue of the Seven.
After fighting and defeating the Pyro Abyss Lector, a luxurious chest and hidden achievement will become available. This gives you 5 Primogems.
Check the Achievements tab!
While the Primogem sources listed above are hidden quests and achievements, there are a ton of other methods to earn them that aren’t hidden.
There is an “Achievements” tab on the main menu that lists achievements you can get from all sorts of things, such as: B. completing quests, participating in battles, refilling your Serenitea pot, mastering elemental reactions, fishing, Genius Invocation TCG and much more!
Many of the achievements listed are part of a chain that rewards more Primogems with each achievement completed. For example, the Elemental Specialist series grants 5, 10, and 20 Primogems for defeating an increasing number of enemies with Elemental Reactions in a given time window.
Aside from achievements, you can also earn a steady stream of Primogems by completing Hangout events or giving matching furniture to characters in your Serenitea Pot.
